Each of the Northcross Brothers books is a complete standalone.
Book 1
If It Means Something
Holden Northcross is the most despised man in Lockstead, the small town he’s lived in his whole life. Known as a bully and a womanizer, he finally takes it too far when he brings a woman back to his office for…lunch. His father is furious. Tired of the Northcross name being dragged through the mud, he threatens to fire Holden from the family liquor business if he can’t clean up his reputation in three months.
To prove himself, he has to convince one store to work with him—the one belonging to the girl who broke his heart. The same girl he tortured until she left town five years ago.
Lucy Barrera built a life far from the small town she grew up in, vowing never to return. Until her parents tell her they have to sell the shop they’ve owned for generations before they go out of business. Deciding to leave everything behind again, including her almost-fiancé, she returns home to save her family’s legacy.
While taking meetings from prospective vendors, a familiar and unwelcome face shows up in her office. He has a plan to save them both, but it’s going to mean working very closely.
Together, they learn the consequences of holding onto the past and lying to the people they love. Including each other.

Book 2
If It Mattered Enough
He just met the woman of his dreams. Unfortunately, he’s headed to his first date with her sister.
Zadie is a newly single mom whose only goals are to provide a good life for her son and get the band she loved back together. As far as she’s concerned, love is a lie. Alex is tired of quick, heated relationships that dead-end and force him to start over. He’s ready for stability.
When these two meet, their chemistry stuns them both.
But they part ways without acting on it since he has a date waiting for him. Only a few weeks later, he sees Zadie at his new girlfriend’s family barbecue. With strong feelings for both women, Alex has to choose between safety and passion, while Zadie wars with love versus loyalty.
